Happy Veterans Day from Wheatland Center School! We celebrated our community's veterans yesterday with a breakfast hosted by our eighth grade leaders and a special assembly with students sharing poetry, singing the National Anthem, and performing "America the Beautiful" before honoring our guests during the Hallway of Heroes Parade!
Our 5th and 6th graders visited our local Veterans Memorial Park to learn about the different branches of our military, historical information about each flag represented, and etiquette when visiting memorials.
