• On Thursday, March 12th Governor Evers declared a Public Health Emergency for the State of Wisconsin and called upon the people of Wisconsin to work aggressively to slow the spread of COVID-19. We take this responsibility seriously, as we consider the impact of our decisions on students and their learning, our families and staff and their professional and personal responsibilities, and all of our connections with one another throughout the Wheatland Community.

Distance learning will be in place for the duration of the public health emergency. No students will report to school.

Wheatland's distance learning plan differs for all grade levels. Parents and students will be in contact with individual teachers to receive instructions. Additional resources can be found by clicking the 'Instructional Resources' tab on this webpage. We will add additional items as they become available.

While away from school, we strongly encourage families to follow the guidance and recommendations provided by the CDC regarding COVID-19.

    Food Service

Wheatland will begin no cost food service for ALL Wheatland students effective Monday, March 30th based on an approved waiver from the state. This includes all open enrolled students. Delivery to homes will continue for those that qualify for the federal lunch program and pick up service will be available for all other families at Wheatland Center School. This process will take place from 11:00 to 1:00 on Monday and Wednesday each week. Monday's food service will include a healthy breakfast and lunch for Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday's service will include a healthy breakfast and lunch for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
